Our amazing Alma Soprano Ice device can be used virtually anywhere on the body and on patients of all skin types (even dark or tanned skin).
We chose to work with this highly specialized laser hair removal device because the laser has SHR™ and IN Motion™ technology to safely and gently heat the targeted area. Pulses of energy gradually heat the hair follicles deep into the skin’s sub dermal layer to eliminate hair regrowth while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. An additional cooling mechanism further ensures the surface of your skin stays cool and comfortable throughout your treatment.
Laser Hair Removal FAQs
While pain tolerance is subjective and varies from one patient to the next, many describe it as a quick pinch of the skin and note they mostly feel a “warm sensation” similar to that of a ‘hot stone massage’. Soprano ICE is a unique technology that delivers low heat levels at a fast delivery, which makes it different from most traditional laser hair removal systems. By utilizing low heat, it decreases the pain and can minimize the risk of side effects. This is why no numbing cream is necessary.
The most common areas for treatment include the legs, underarms, bikini line, upper lip and chin for woman and the back, chest and arms for men. At Premier Medical Health & Wellness we chose to work with the Soprano ICE laser because it can treat any area of the body where hair is present and it works with all skin tones.
In the days leading up to your Soprano Ice laser hair removal treatment at Premier Medical Health & Wellness, be sure to shave the area you plan to treat. Refrain from waxing the area during your entire treatment series.
During your first visit to our office one of laser experts will develop a treatment plan customized to your skin, hair, and your aesthetic goals. On average patients require a series of 6-8 laser treatments which are typically spaced 4-8 weeks apart (depending on the area being treated).
